Geraldine Moodie photographs taken during the 1904-1905 Hudson Bay expedition

Geraldine Moodie (1854-1945) was married to an officer with the North West Mounted Police. When her husband was posted in the Eastern Arctic in the early 1900s, Moodie was already an established professional photographer. While stationed at Fullerton, Northwest Territories, she continued her practice by taking portraits of local Inuit. Her photographs at Library and Archives Canada are in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police collection.
