This drawing relates to the mural done for the Chateau Laurier which has been destroyed. See paintings 1973-16-1 and 1973-16-2 for the murals which have been transferred to the National Archives.
C-27570 was the negative for the mural - but it is no longer listed in the NA holdings.
See also C-6971 in the restricted files, under C.W. Jefferys for the fourth mural, entitled: Champlain taking his position at the Chaudière Falls in 1613.
New colour transparency produced 2001; colour had shifted in original transparency.
